Red Deer’s Jeremiah Lauzon Breaks 200-Metre Record

In February 2022, Jeremiah Lauzon, a Red Deer resident and track and field athlete, broke an Albertan 200-metre record with a time of 21.14 seconds; the previous record of 21.22 had been set 18 years ago!

His result also puts Jeremiah 12th on the Canadian all-time list of 200-metre results.

Currently, Jeremiah has begun his outdoor season and is posting great results. Throughout the spring and summer, Jeremiah will be focused on qualifying for the Canadian National Team and competing at the Canadian champions in Langley, BC, from June 23-26, 2022.
