Return to Play – Organizational Grant
SPORT, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY & RECREATION – Return to Play Grant
We know Albertans have been missing out on sport, physical activity, and recreation due to the pandemic. The Return to Play Grant is designed to provide financial support to organizations that will facilitate Alberta’s youth (18 and under), families and individuals with disabilities’ return to being physically active in their communities!
The opportunity is funded by the Government of Alberta, which recognizes that sport, physical activity, and recreation activities are essential to an individual’s physical, mental, and social well-being. This inclusive grant program supports community-based organizations in reducing barriers to help ensure youth (18 and under) and individuals with disabilities in Alberta can access opportunities that match their individual needs.
Program Goals
- Provide financial support to sport, physical activity, and recreation organizations located in Alberta to assist with the costs of developing and delivering community-level programming; and
